Birmingham Magician Owen Strickland at Bordesley Park- i have done some amazing weddings at Bordesley Park over the last few months. All of these were booked when i attended the wedding fayres/open days at the venue earlier in the year. Its a real privilege to be the recommended magician at such a prestigious and exclusive venue as Bordesley Park. It really is an amazing venue with a great events team, and lovely owners. 

Nicola and John

Nicola and John met me at the open day and booked there and then. It was a lovely sunny day, and a brilliant crowd. 

It was mix and mingle during the drinks reception, before around the tables during the meal. I have some amazing videos of one table i particular, which will definitely be going in my next showreel!

Dan and Jess

Again, I met both Dan and Jess at the open day the previous year. They a booked me for the lull period between the wedding breakfast and evening reception. This is a great time to have me perform, as theres no accommodation for guests to go to and it stops them getting bored

Sarah and Chris

Sarah and Chris booked me for my Platinum package, which is mix and mingle magic during the drinks reception and then table magic around the breakfast.

Kate and Simon

After a very average September weather wise, Kate and Simon had an Indian summer of a day which saw a gorgeous sunny day. It meant i could go around the guest on the lovely lawned area outside the marquee during the drinks reception. This is not usual at this time of year, but very welcome. As a bonus, my good friend and amazing photographer Paul Willets was there, and got some amazing photographs. I was a surprise for simon, so it was the return of my “surprise waiter” gag. This is a great way to add some extra surprises on the day, and some great photos.
